Springwood (Blue Mountains) Netball Club Inc is a community based netball club competing in the Blue Mountains Netball Association winter and twilight competitions.
We are one of the largest competing in the BMNA competition and have a long and distinguished history, having been first formed in the early 1970s. Springwood Blue Mountains Netball Club fields teams ranging from 7 years old up to Seniors.
In the 2010 season we entered 18 teams in the competition and welcomed 175 members to our club.
Springwood (Blue Mountains) Netball Club has a firm philosophy that playing for fun is an important part of enjoying the wonderful sport of netball.
No previous experience in Netball is necessary just come along and enjoy the fun!
We place a strong emphasis on development of players, coaches and umpires and to that end ensures that all members are offered opportunities to train at a more elite level in these areas.
We boast a number of highly qualified coaches who also train BMNA representative teams. Our umpires are amongst the best in the competition and our umpires convenor is a National B badged umpire.
The Club is also pleased to support a large number of BMNA representative players.
